Along with attorneys from Miller Canfield and Michigan Advocacy Program, MCR’s in-house attorneys joined a Wayne State University Law School Access to Justice seminar taught by retired Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court Marilyn Kelly, Distinguished Jurist in Residence, on Tuesday. The panel discussed the history and current landscape of pro bono service in Michigan and encouraged this next generation of attorneys to make pro bono work an important part of their practice.
